Susan G. Komen Race for the cure

I just found out that the Race for the Cure-Denver and the Susan G. Komen foundation has asked to use my images from last Octobers event for their nation wide campaign! This is another cause that is super important to me! On the day of the event I was in tears- both of sorrow and of joy. These surviving women and their families have had to overcome so much in this huge battle of cancer. It REALLY puts my life into perspective and is such a powerful reminder to live life to the fullest! It was also a huge reminder to love your neighbor, your family, yourself and strangers, because life is way to short to not love. Every aspect of this event was so emotional and touching. I wanted to reach out and hug everyone I saw! And to see the families and women who were so unbelieveable and strong-my heart just cracked wide open! Here are a few images from the event, some of which will be used for their national campaign. I will update my blog as soon as the publication is released!
