I had the great pleasure to photograph one of my second photographers families this fall....Nicole was dying for family portraits! The last ones she did were at.....are you ready....SEARS!! Is she crazy!! It wasn't by choice by any stretch of the imagination...so we figured it was time to do it right!! Here's a few of her adorable family!!

Fall spectacular!!! seriously! We have had the best fall this year and when Erika and Matt told me they were getting married on October 20th...I kept thinking, ohhh....I hope we still have the beautiful fall leaves then!!.....Well, we did! and Spectacular they were!! The wedding and reception took place at the beautiful Arrowhead Golf Club. They were so fun to work with!! Here's a few images from their great day!!

OH, I love this one!! it's such a great time to spend with family and to just get clear on what I am grateful for in life! So, here are my top 10!
1. My seriously awesome and supportive husband!! --he rocks! :)
2. My Parents who are such an inspiration after being married for 32 years!!
3. The amazing view from our back deck from our house!--it is truly such a gift to live where we do!
4. Our neighbors who have been so encouraging and a touchstone in my life! Thank you for sharing all things great!
5. oh, yes, I'm finally going to say it.......the first SNOW!!! I think I'm finally ready for it!
6. The warm roof over our head!
7. My health of my family and my friends!
8. My friends who forgive me because I NEVER go out with them anymore...because...I'm married, I live too far away and get up way too early.
9. This great new book I am reading called "Eat Pray Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. It's so good!!!!
10. My life career, which I am forever grateful for...I cannot even describe the pleasure I get by serving others in this way! I am truly blessed!
11. How great Thanksgiving is--especially when it's on my Birthday!!...and all I'm going to say is that I was born in the 70's and I have not graduated to the thirty-something club quite yet! :) lol!

I still need to post Cynthia and Stuart's wedding from Las Vegas in October!! It was a blast! Very Elegant ceremony at the Wynn Las Vegas. They had a sweet private villa where they wined and dined their 30 guest and then they headed over to the Venetian for a lovely dinner!! so fun!!

Cynthia, Stuart and I had been attempting to get together for their engagement session for 5 months before their wedding on October 13th! We were going to meet in San Francisco, then in Vegas, then in San Francisco....and we finally caught up with eachother just a day before their wedding in Las Vegas! Here are a few from their 'Strip' engagement session in Vegas.
Yes, I know! I am once again behind on blogging :)...A lot of amazing things have been happening here at the Lotus Photo family in Colorado....those details before the end of the year!
But first! I want to share Allyson and Brad's beautiful Kauai, Hawaii wedding. It took place way back on October 1st!! These two were a very special couple! Brad from Australia and Allyson originally from St. Louis. Both of their families met for the FIRST time on the island of Kauai just a few short days before the wedding. To say the least, it was a VERY emotional and joyful time for these two families who are now united across two countries.
Here are a couple images from their simple and beautiful beach wedding! They couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!
